បញ្ឈប់ជម្លោះបានដោយសម្មាទស្សនៈ

QUARRELS CEASE THROUGH RIGHT THINKING

परे च न विजानन्ति, मयमेत्थ यमामसे।
ये च तत्थ विजानन्ति, ततो सम्मन्ति मेधगा॥

បរេ ច ន វិជានន្តិ, មយមេត្ថ យមាមសេ;
យេ ច តត្ថ វិជានន្តិ, តតោ សម្មន្តិ មេធគា។

ពួកជនដទៃមិនដឹងច្បាស់ថា ក្នុងក្រុមជម្លោះនេះ ពួកយើងនឹងវិនាសឯជនទាំងឡាយណា ក្នុងក្រុមជម្លោះនោះដឹងច្បាស់ ជម្លោះទាស់ទែងអំពីជនពួកនោះ នឹងស្ងប់រំងាប់ ។

Pare ca na vijānanti, mayametha yamāmase
Ye ca tattha vijānanti, tato sammanti medhagā.

The others know not that in this quarrel we perish;
those of them who realize it, have their quarrels calmed thereby.

Story: រឿងជម្លោះភិក្ខុក្រុងកោសម្ពី

A trivial incident led to an unfortunate dispute amongst the monks in the city of Kosambi. The quarrelsome monks did not listen even to the Buddha. In the end the Buddha retired to a forest and spent the rainy season there. Owing to pressure brought on them by the laity, the monks approached the Buddha and, imploring His pardon, invited Him to the city. The Buddha then admonished them.
