The Method of asking for the five precepts (Niccasila)
ឧកាស
មយំ1ម្នាក់ឯងថា “អហំ“ភន្តេវិសុំវិសុំរក្ខនត្ថាយ
Ukāsamayaṇbhantevisuṇvisuṇrakkhanatthāya
តិសរណេនសហបញ្ចសីលានិយាចាម2ម្នាក់ឯងថា “យាចាមិ“។
tisaranenasahapañca sīlāniyācāma.
ទុតិយម្បិមយំ3ម្នាក់ឯងថា “អហំ“ភន្តេវិសុំវិសុំរក្ខនត្ថាយ
Dutiyampimayaṇbhantevisuṇvisuṇrakkhanatthāya
តិសរណេនសហបញ្ចសីលានិយាចាម4ម្នាក់ឯងថា “យាចាមិ“។

តតិយម្បិមយំ5ម្នាក់ឯងថា “អហំ“ភន្តេវិសុំវិសុំរក្ខនត្ថាយ
Tatiyampimayaṇbhantevisuṇvisuṇrakkhanatthāya
តិសរណេនសហបញ្ចសីលានិយាចាម6ម្នាក់ឯងថា “យាចាមិ“។

- ប្រែៈ សូមគោរព បពិត្រព្រះករុណាដ៏ចម្រើន ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា (ទាំងឡាយ) សូមនូវសីលទាំងឡាយ៥ មួយអន្លើដោយព្រះត្រៃសរណគមន៍ ដើម្បីប្រយោជន៍នឹងរក្សាផ្សេងៗគ្នា
- Permit us, venerable sir, we ask for the Five Precepts with the Three Refuges in order to observe them separately. Venerable sir, kindly minister the Precepts to us.
- ប្រែៈ សូមគោរព បពិត្រព្រះករុណាដ៏ចម្រើន ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា (ទាំងឡាយ) សូមនូវសីលទាំងឡាយ៥ មួយអន្លើដោយព្រះត្រៃសរណគមន៍ ដើម្បីប្រយោជន៍នឹងរក្សាផ្សេងៗគ្នា ជាគំរប់២ដងផង

អ្នកសមាទានត្រូវទទួលតាមព្រះសង្ឃថាៈ
The lay people repeat after the monk:
នមោតស្សភគវតោអរហតោសម្មាសម្ពុទ្ធស្ស (បីចប់)
Namotassabhagavatoarahatosammāsambuddhasa. (3 times)
- ប្រែៈ រីកិរិយានមស្ការ ថ្វាយបង្គំ នៃខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា ចូរមានដល់ព្រះដ៏មានព្រះភាគអង្គនោះ ព្រះអង្គជាព្រះអរហន្តដ៏ប្រសើរ ទ្រង់ត្រាស់ដឹង នូវញេយ្យធម៌ទាំងពួងដោយប្រពៃ ចំពោះព្រះអង្គ ឥតមានគ្រូអាចារ្យណា ប្រដៅព្រះអង្គឡើយ ។
- Homage to Exalted One, the Worthy One, the Perfectly Enlightened One.
ពុទ្ធំសរណំគច្ឆាមិ ។
Buddhaṇsaranaṇ gacchāmi
ធម្មំសរណំគច្ឆាមិ ។
Dhammaṇsaranaṇgacchāmi.
សង្ឃំសរណំគច្ឆាមិ ។
Sanghaṇsaranaṇgacchāmi.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមដល់នូវព្រះពុទ្ធជាទីពឹងទីរលឹក ។
- I go to Buddha as my refuge.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមដល់នូវព្រះធម៌ជាទីពឹងទីរលឹក ។
- I go to Dhamma as my refuge.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមដល់នូវព្រះសង្ឃជាទីពឹងទីរលឹក ។
- I go to Sangha as my refuge.
ទុតិយម្បិពុទ្ធំសរណំគច្ឆាមិ។
TutiyammpiBuddhaṇsaranaṇ gacchāmi.
ទុតិយម្បិធម្មំសរណំគច្ឆាមិ។
TutiyammpiDhammaṇsaranaṇgacchāmi.
ទុតិយម្បិសង្ឃំសរណំគច្ឆាមិ។
TutiyammpiSanghaṇsaranaṇgacchāmi.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមដល់នូវព្រះពុទ្ធជាទីពឹងទីរលឹក ជាគំរប់២ដងផង។
- For the second time, I go to Buddha as my refuge.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមដល់នូវព្រះធម៌ជាទីពឹងទីរលឹក ជាគំរប់២ដងផង ។
- For the second time, I go to Dhamma as my refuge.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមដល់នូវព្រះសង្ឃជាទីពឹងទីរលឹក ជាគំរប់២ដងផង ។
- For the second time, I go to Sangha as my refuge.
តតិយម្បិពុទ្ធំសរណំ គច្ឆាមិ។
TatiyammpiBuddhaṇsaranaṇgacchāmi.
តតិយម្បិធម្មំសរណំគច្ឆាមិ។
TatiyammpiDhammaṇsaranaṇgacchāmi.
តតិយម្បិសង្ឃំសរណំ គច្ឆាមិ។
TatiyammpiSanghaṇsaranaṇgacchāmi.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមដល់នូវព្រះពុទ្ធជាទីពឹងទីរលឹក ជាគំរប់៣ដងផង ។
- For the third time, I go to Buddha as my refuge.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមដល់នូវព្រះធម៌ជាទីពឹងទីរលឹក ជាគំរប់៣ដងផង ។
- For the third time, I go to Dhamma as my refuge.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមដល់នូវព្រះសង្ឃជាទីពឹងទីរលឹក ជាគំរប់៣ដងផង ។
- For the third time, I go to Sangha as my refuge.
ភិក្ខុអ្នកប្រទានសីលរំលឹកថាៈ -The monk then says:
តិសរណគ្គហណំបរិបុណ្ណំ
TisaranaggahanaṇBaribunnam.
This ends the going for refuge.
អ្នកសមាទានសីលទទួលថាៈ – The lay people respond:
អាមភន្តេ
ĀmaBhante
- ប្រែៈ ករុណាលោកម្ចាស់
- Yes, venerable, sir
អ្នកទទួលសីលត្រូវថាតាមតទៅទៀត
The monk then recites the precepts line by line, then the lay people reciting them line by line after him.
បាណាតិបាតាវេរមណីសិក្ខាបទំសមាទិយាមិ
Pānātipātāveramanīsikkhāpadaṇsamādiyāmi.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណាសូមសមាទាន នូវសិក្ខាបទ គឺចេតនាជាហេតុវៀរចាកកិរិយា ធ្វើនូវសត្វមានជីវិតឲ្យធ្លាក់ចុះកន្លង គឺសម្លាប់សត្វ ។
- I accept the precept to abstain from the taking of any living being.
អទិន្នាទានាវេរមណីសិក្ខាបទំសមាទិយាមិ
Adinnādānāveramanīsikkhāpadaṇsamādiyāmi.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណាសូមសមាទាន នូវសិក្ខាបទ គឺចេតនាជាហេតុវៀរចាកកិរិយា កាន់យកនូវវត្ថុដែលគេមិនបានឲ្យ ដោយកាយឬដោយវាចា ។
- I accept the precept to abstain from the taking of what is not given.
កាមេសុមិច្ឆាចារាវេរមណីសិក្ខាបទំសមាទិយាមិ
Kāmesumicchācārāsikkhāpadaṇsamādiyāmi.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណាសូមសមាទាន នូវសិក្ខាបទ គឺចេតនាជាហេតុវៀរចាកកិរិយា ប្រព្រឹត្តខុសក្នុងកាមទាំងឡាយ ។
- I accept the precept to abstain from sexual misconduct.
មុសាវាទាវេរមណីសិក្ខាបទំសមាទិយាមិ
Musāvādāveramanīsikkhāpadaṇsamādiyāmi.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណាសូមសមាទាន នូវសិក្ខាបទ គឺចេតនាជាហេតុវៀរចាកកិរិយា ពោលនូវពាក្យកុហក ។
- I accept the precept to abstain from telling lies.
សុរាមេរយមជ្ជប្បមាទដ្ឋានាវេរមណីសិក្ខាបទំសមាទិយាមិ
Surāmerayamajjapamātatthānāveramanīsikkhāpadaṇsamādiyāmi.
- ប្រែៈ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណាសូមសមាទាន នូវសិក្ខាបទ គឺចេតនាជាហេតុវៀរចាកកិរិយា ជាទីតាំងនៃសេចក្តីប្រមាទ គឺផឹកនូវទឹកស្រវឹង គឺសុរានិងមេរ័យ ។
- I accept the precept to abstain from drinking that cause intoxication.
ភិក្ខុអ្នកប្រទានសីលពោលរំលឹកថាៈ
The monk then concludes with the following:
ឥមានិបញ្ចសិក្ខាបទានិសាធុកំកត្វា
Imānipañcasikkhāpadānisādhukaṇkatvā
អប្បមាទេននិច្ចកាលំសម្មារក្ខិតព្វំ។
appamātenaniccalālaṇsammārakkhitappan.
អ្នកសមាទានត្រូវទទួលថាៈ The lay people respond:
អាមភន្តេ។
ĀmaBhante
- ប្រែៈ ករុណាលោកម្ចាស់
- Yes, venerable, sir
These are the five training rules.
ព្រះសង្ឃសំដែងអានិសង្សសីលថាៈ
The monk preaches as:
សីលេនសុគតឹយន្តិ
Sīlenasugatiṇyanti.
- ប្រែៈ សត្វទាំងឡាយ បានទៅកាន់ស្ថានសួគ៌ក៏ព្រោះសីល
- Through virtue they go to good birth.
សីលេនភោគសម្បទា
Sīlenaphogasampadā.
- សត្វទាំងឡាយបានបរិបូណ៌ដោយភោគក៏ព្រោះសីល
- Through virtue is wealth attained.
សីលេននិព្វុតឹយន្តិ
Sīlenanipputiṇyanti.
- សត្វទាំងឡាយ បានទៅកាន់ទីរំលត់ទុក្ខ គឺព្រះនិព្វានក៏ព្រោះសីល
- Through virtue they go to liberation.
តស្មា សីលំវិសោធយេ។
Tasmāsilaṇvisodhaye.
- ព្រោះហេតុនោះ បុគ្គលជាសប្បុរស គប្បីជំរះនូវសីលឲ្យបរិសុទ្ធ កុំឲ្យសៅហ្មង ។
- Therefore we should purify our virtue.
អ្នកសមាទានសីលទទួលថាៈ – The lay people respond:
សាធុសាធុសាធុ
SādhuSādhuSādhu
ទីបញ្ចប់អ្នកទទួលសីល – At the end the lay people:
ថ្វាយបង្គំបីដង BOW THREE TIMES
ចប់សមាទាននិច្ចសីលតែប៉ុណ្ណោះ
